Code for Change Testimonials
"Alexandra Neighbourhood House has been working with Pixel Sweatshop since June 2011 to design a brand for both print and online materials, to create a variety of templates, produce a Style Guide and develop a new, interactive website. We found Pixel through the Grant for Change, and this grant enabled us to proceed with the project which would otherwise have been outside our budget capabilities. Their designs are eye-catching and effective, and their follow-up is prompt. They understand the not-for-profit world, they are professional and very patient, and we would definitely use their services again."

"Pixel Sweatshop work supportively with us and have enabled us to re-design our webiste, resulting in something more interactive and responsive. We would not have been able to do this without their Grant for Change. We have been very pleased with the quality and affordability of the service of Pixel Sweatshop, indeed we have recommended them to at least four other non profit organisations. It is great to be able to edit and add to our website completely independently, this is not only more budget-conscious but also more creative and personal for us. Pixel Sweatshop is quick to respond to any queries, offer support in helpful ways including video tutorials, and give useful advice particularly in how the use of the internet and websites is changing."

"We have been working with Pixel Sweatshop for a little over a year and have been happy and suitably impressed with all aspects of their service. As a not-for-profit group their 'Grant for Change' brought the project within our budget for a website that reached well into our wildest dreams! Not only do the staff at Pixel understand the challenges facing non-profit services groups but their intuition into the needs of these groups is phenomenal! As I indicated, components of the website that we barely dared to dream about, never mind ask for, Pixel Sweatshop staff presented as components that we should have. Nico is our main contact and he has always been supportive, friendly and insightful. Thank you, Nico and the rest of the staff at Pixel Sweatshop! "

"In early 2010, Saanich was in the process of redeveloping and re-branding our Corporate Website. As a part of this process pixel sweatshop was hired to help us develop a template for our site that would organize our site content to be much more user friendly, as well as allow for improved visual communication. I do not hesitate to express my opinion that working alongside Pixel Sweatshop through this process genuinely improved our end result.
The specific areas of strength that were brought to the table by Pixel Sweatshop were their superb analytical resources, creative services and familiarity with best practices. The other notable accomplishment was Pixel Sweatshops ability to quickly define our needs and then land on several options for a workable solution fairly early in the process that then allowed us to focus in more quickly upon working out a solution that best fit our requirements. From initial consultation, to development to launch and post support - Pixel Sweatshop walked us through our website redevelopment with true professional attention to detail and quality. Everything was also all delivered on time and on budget.
Today, the public reaction and current comments we continue to receive after launching of our new website format can be best characterized as very positive. Aside from making sure our content is regularly updated I am not aware of any concern or comment that has been raised to date about the functionality, format or ease of use of our new website design."
