The Sooke Region Community Health Initiative's Website, Sookeregionresources.com is Sooke's first online health dirctory of programs and services. The community is freely available to register and submit listings for the directory.

Victoria Community Literacy Planning Committee's learnnowvictoria.com Website is a directory of Literacy Services serving Southern Vancouver Island. The site relies on the community to generate the listings and is moderated by a single administrator that reviews and approves listings into the directory.

One of the unique challenges of the Blanshard Community Centre Website was their events and activities calendar that changes almost on a daily basis. Having a Content Management System means they do not need to bother an IT pro to update their site constantly. Multiple staff members can help co-maintain the site and keep if fresh.

The Victoria Women's Sexual Assault Centre needed a facelift for one of their program's websites. Along with great info and support, The yesmeansyes.com project utilizes the ability to showcase their clients artwork/writings and the ability for users to request program info.

Pacific Centre Family Services site utilizes an enhanced installation of Drupal and Open Atrium. The Open Atrium handles the internal communications and collaboration between senior management and staff, as well as the ongoing communications between the Board of Directors. Their Drupal instalation boasts custom content typs, such as event and news and provides a multi-user blog.

The District of Saanich contact us to develop a theme for the relaunch of their new site. They had in-house developers to build the functionality, but came to Pixel Sweatshop to create a visual appealing look for the face of Saanich that demonstrated the vibrancy of city, as well as made it easy for users to navigate.

The Groove Method

The Groove people came to us to give them a fresh look for their new site. Their website boasts a public facing section that inform users about the Groove Method, allows them to search for Groove Classes all over the world. Behind the scenes, Groove Licensees are given a full range of resources to help them start the Groove revolution.

The great people at the Fairfield Activity Centre approached us to help them rebuild their brand and provide them a new website to go along with their new name. The wanted it simple, clean and contemporary.

ANHBC were launching a toolkit as a resource for other neighbourhoods to implement their own houses for support services. They chose Pixel Sweatshop to give them a site that lets users browse their their toolkit, as well as connect with other members for help and support.
