This week, Oreo Cookies set out to make their mark in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most "Likes" on Facebook. They succeed and we're quickly beaten out by Lil Wayne. This got me thinking, why does Oreo even have a Facebook profile in the first place? Not to bash on Oreo (I love those things), but what value do they provide on Facebook other than the hype of getting the most 'Likes"? It brings to mind the Paris Hilton phenomena, "Famous for being Famous".
